US customers can order viral food from TikTok Kitchen
TikTok is entering into food business. Yes, you heard that right. The social media company best known for its short form video app is planning to serve the foods gone viral in the TikTok.
TikTok is collaborating with the Virtual Dining Concepts and Grubhub for the launch of “TikTok Kitchen”, Bloomberg reported. To begin with, TikTok Kitchen will start from the viral foods including baked feta pasta, which was one of the most searched food item in Google this year. Menu offered will be changed quarterly, replacing the existing recipes with the ones in the trend.
Food lovers have to wait till March to try the food from TikTok Kitchen, which will initially start from 300 locations. TikTok aims to open at least 1000 restaurants by the end of next year.
TikTok clarified that the revenue from TikTok Kitchen will be used to support creators making viral food recipes and others, continuing its mission to inspire creativity and bring joy among its users.
